Breakfast is the most important meal during the day. But many people skip breakfast and work the very first half of the day in a famished state. Chia Seed French Toast

This is a delicious, super-filling breakfast to enjoy before each day of heavy training. The worst part about brunch dishes may be the generous pour of maple syrup, but you will find healthy replacements that are just like satisfying.

Instead, top with all-natural peanut butter and banana slices. Or, mix a teaspoon of maple syrup along with a drop of vanilla extract into 1/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt, and serve with fresh berries.

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 scoop protein powder
  • Dash cinnamon
  • 2 slices sprouted whole-wheat bread
  • 2 tsp. chia seeds.
Method

Beat together the entire egg and egg white in a medium-sized bowl. Mix in protein powder and cinnamon.

Spray a sizable frying pan with coconut oil, and wipe excess having a paper towel. Heat over medium-high.

Dip a slice of bread within the egg mixture, and flip it over so each side can soak it up. Lay it within the frying pan. Repeat with the second slice, and pour any remaining mixture over top. Sprinkle with chia seeds. Flip after about 2 minutes, once the egg has cooked enough to create. Continue cooking for one minute, until golden brown.

Quick Breakfast Taco

Ingredients
  • 2 or 3 tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon salsa
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup liquid egg substitute
Method

Spread salsa on tortillas, and sprinkle cheese them over. In a microwave, heat tortillas for 30 secs, till cheese melts. In the skillet, use a cooking spray or heat somewhat oil, at medium heat. Cook egg substitute, for 90 seconds, till eggs are scrambled completely. Add eggs to tortillas and serve.

Greek Yogurt Goji Cereal Parfait

A nutritious breakfast doesn’t need to take a lot of time. Give your favorite breakfast cereal new life by preparing a parfait within a few minutes.

A Greek yogurt parfait is really a highly versatile breakfast because you can swap out whatever fruits and cereals you want, and it’ll make a great snack or sweet evening treat too.

Ingredients
  • 6 oz. plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla pure whey protein powder
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1/3 cup Peace Cereal Goji Berry
  • 1/2 ripe mango, diced
Method

Mix the protein powder and honey in to the Greek yogurt.

Starting with the granola, accompanied by the yogurt and the mango pieces, layer all ingredients together inside a tall glass or dish.
